Boyd Walston Construction was launched at the beginning of 2026 through the rebranding of Boyds Property Solutions, marking the next chapter of a business that has grown steadily since its founding in 2018. While attending college, founder Devoski Boyd started Boyd’s Property Solutions as a pressure washing and pool cleaning business to earn additional income during his undergraduate years. What began as a small side business quickly became something more.
As Devoski built relationships with homeowners and business owners, clients began asking him to assist with additional projects. One opportunity led to another, and those early “odd jobs” gradually expanded into remodel , restoration, home additions, commercial build-out projects. The decision to rebrand as Boyd Walston Construction reflects both the company’s growth and its long-term vision. The name also honors Devoski’s family construction heritage, paying tribute to his great-grandfather, Elise Walston, who founded Walston & Sons Plumbing Company in Black Creek, North Carolina, in 1960.
Today, Boyd Walston Construction proudly carries that legacy forward by delivering dependable construction services and trusted project leadership to homeowners, businesses, developers, and communities throughout Alabama.
Our name has changed, but the values that built the company remain the same: strong relationships, quality work, personal accountability, and a commitment to building with purpose.
